Comment | V. parahaemolyticus T6SS2 was inactive under warm marine-like conditions in the studied RIMD 2210633 isolate, and a strong expression and secretion of the hallmark T6SS2 component Hcp2 in BB22OP under these conditions was found. Inactivation of BB22OP T6SS2 by deletion of hcp2 resulted in a significantly reduced ability to kill E. coli prey. |
