Comment The toxicity of the wild-type strain TH0426 to EPC cells was 1.8-fold higher than that of the deletion strain ΔdotU at 1h of infection. At 2h, the cytotoxicity reached a maximum of 2.1-fold more than that of the mutant strain, the virulence was reduced significantly.
