Comment Δt5 Δti5 mutant was significantly inhibited by vt5+ strains under cell contact-promoting conditions, and the complementation of vti5 in Δvt5Δvti5 provided effective protection against growth inhibition by vti1+ Wt-PE171 strains. VgrG and icmF are required for the antibacterial capacity of vt5+ strains.
