Description | The mutation of phoP exhibited a slight but reproducible and significant decrease of ECPs secretion when compared to the wild-type strain. When pDM8G-esrB was introduced into the phoP mutant, the b-galactosidase activity was reduced 1.6-fold compared to that of the wild type. Deletion of phoP also reduced the activity of esrA-lacZ fusion by 1.4-fold. |
