Description | the expression of T6SS1 was upregulated in the ypsIytbI and ypsRytbR double mutants compared to the YPIII parent strain.; T6SS4 promoter activity was signiWcantly reduced in the ypsIytbI double mutant in which the QS system was completely inactivated and T6SS4 promoter activity was strongly reduced in the ypsI mutant. Exogenously adding AHLs extracted from the AHL producer E. coli DH5 (pJZ365) resulted in a substantial recovery of T6SS4 expression in the ypsIytbI mutant. |
