Description | In the ΔbprC mutant, there was no transcript from the tssA promoter as expected, but the hcp1 promoter was still functional. Only tssA was not expressed whereas the other two downstream genes (hcp1 and vgrG) were still highly expressed in the ΔbprC mutant. |
