Function


To understand the biochemical features of N. gonorrhoeae RecA (RecA(Ng)), we overexpressed and purified the RecA(Ng) and SSB(Ng) proteins and compared their activities to those of the well-characterized E. coli RecA and SSB proteins in vitro.
