ICE family: CTnDOT/ERL
The CTnDOT/ERL family was described in Whittle et al (2002). We classified any ICE that encodes an integrase gene closely related to intDOT, defined as over 60% protein homology and that that has significant sequence alignment and syntenic 'core' structure in the CTnDOT/ERL family of ICEs.
